I've had PayPal for years, but fees and other issues have made them less desirable as of late.

Doing a google search brings up a bunch of options, but what actually works and is most common? Venmo?

I'm not a business, just a guy offloading a bunch of stuff online.

Asking here to hopefully get some firsthand feedback rather than 'just' what google brings up.

Thanks!

As an 'instant", no/low fee (for either side of certain transactions) I use Venmo. I did NOT seek it out .. others people I do business with wanted to use it so I did.

Money goes directly from your bank account to the other persons account (or from a credit card for a fee), they use multi-level verification, mobile app, etc. I tend to use it with people I know/done business with before/regularly, and for amounts under a grand.

I also use Zelle for interbank stuff .. its like a "bank-to-bank" transfer and can flow instantly (in seconds) like/even faster tha a wire but without the transaction cost to the sende/receiver.

ALL of these services have "fine print" to look at before you use them. And anything that move money via an app/mobile device, security measures THEY use, and that YOU have on your device, are very important to protect against hacking, etc.
