This time its a C body wagon (looks to be a 1975 and they must be rare). The fellow doesn't even bother to rebuild the Thermoquad but instead uses a GM quadrajet and the car runs fine. Wish I would have known. I would have taken the quadrajet off my Caprice and used it on my New Yorker. Live and learn. Paul
 
He got it running, who knows how far he’ll take it. These “barn find” “will it run?” Videos tend to run out of steam pretty quickly once the expenses start adding up.
 
Chrysler was fully committed to the "spreadbore" carburator from the mid 1970's. When Carter exited the OEM business, Chrysler used Rottenchester Quadrapukes on any 4V application. I recall doing tech help as a Chrysler Service Rep on 1982 police Diplomats with 360's; all had those Rochester carbs.
