That was probably the ugliest wood treatment that any Chrysler product ever had. I've seen a few for sale lately. www.stationwagonforums.com is where you want to go, There are a few wagons listed over there that have the same wood treatment on them. All of those are pretty rough, though.
 
I remember seeing a few of them. Usually green in color. Seems to me a friend had one he was using for a tow car for his race car.
 
Certainly a different twist.

Any cars with that wood treatment?
 
On a car that otherwise was going to be yet another grn/grn, any wood treatment to break it up was welcome relief.

Yes, the big C body wagons need woodgrain in my opinion to break them up visually...otherwise it's too much.

Of note, the 72 Monaco had a dark brown woodgrain as a base for the pattern and in 73 they swapped the pattern to a light brown woodgrain base. Here's pics of a 72 contrasted to the 73.
