Anyone Looking To Buy A Mig Welder?

I’ve been thinking about a more powerful machine but I do love my Miller. I’ll have to do some comparing. Great price though!
 
My limited experience with TIG welding aluminum says AC is required to strip the oxidation from aluminum. I don't see that this machine does AC? Agree this looks like a good deal.

I bought it. Set it up and tried it out this morning. Works great! $999 net cost after rebate.

That looks like a nice machine.
Was always thinking the next machine up from our 140 was going to be a 200ish amp with a spool gun for AL.
Heck, with that price point, skip the mig only machine and move to that. Thanks for the heads up.

This welder comes with a stick attachment and you can plug in a spool gun or a tig torch for extra cost. You can weld 110 or 230. Very versatile. Haven't tried it on 230 yet because I need an adapter to plug it in to my outlet but on 110 it welds great.
