I went to desert valley auto parts in Arizona this week. Thought I would post up some pics of the big cars for yal. In the main yard in north phoenix they had a fury for sale. Take a look. They were asking 2750 for the fury. They also had a satellite and a cuda for sale at this location. All their mopar cars were moved to the Black Canyon City location. there were lots of racks with parts for mopars still at the Scottsdale phoenix location. there will be a few front ends for C's also at the Scottsdale location. They will eventually make it up to the new location in Black Canyon City. Here are the first pictures. more to come soon.
there were many racks of bumpers, hoods and trunk lids. There were definitely C body parts in those racks but I'm a little lost on the exacts when looking at just parts. I found lots of ebody stuff on racks.
I got what I was after. But I didn't buy a single part. There is a few 66 pontiac catalina's that will hopefully donate a full trunk and drops for a 66 2+2 421 pontaic that I own. One of 6383. I know, not a pontiac. At least it's a big car. And I learned my love for the catalina body from a 4 door ventura. Great car. Anyway, I was mostly there for the fresh smell of bad gas and the dirt of a thousand perished cars. All of my real yards have disappeared in Colorado for the most part. And there were more ebodies in a yard than I have ever seen. All 4 half's of them. I'm very satisfied with my trip and I only hit 3 yards total. I believe there are another 6 or so yet in Arizona that deserve some browsing.
then there were a lot of Big mopars in the yard. I expected as much. And I also expected them to be slab sides mostly and that appeared to be what the majority was. I'm after a fusie of course. More pics to come.
I know some of the pics are crappy and blurry. but I've found parts from blurry pics so bare with me. It was 85 degrees. hahaha. great temp really to be in Arizona. And it rained the day before.
