Hello everyone, I recently purchased a 1971 Imperial. When running the car, antifreeze leaks out of the servo unit. It looks like it’s possibly leaking out of the lockout switch… I’ve seen that you can purchase them new/remanufactured, but I’m not trying to spend that kind of money right now (It’s a project car, and there’s a lot more that needs my attention currently). Does anyone here have one laying around that they’d want to sell? Thank you!

Your only option without gutting the AC system is to get one of the Performance Analysis servos. Any servo you find used, will cost similar to the PA servo. A used servo is likely to leak soon after installation unless it is the PA servo. I also have a '71 Imperial and have the PA servo and amplifier. My compressor leaked (rebuilt by me but yet to be installed) so I don't have working AC but will when I finish my engine compartment detailing.

Did a search and found this, though: Murray B. Park - Used and NOS Parts for Chrysler, Imperial, Dodge, Desoto, and Plymouth

I appreciate it, thank you!

I would just bipass the servo until you have your other work done and you are ready to work on the A/C system. I would not waste more money on a used unit unless it is proven to be leak free and working.

I agree with you. That’s probably what I’ll end up doing for now.

I've had 2 of these in my '72 New Yorker, The used one I bought for $65 lasted about a year , so I've given up on them. They all leak from the heater hose tubes! I'm looking for a set of non-ATC A/C control switches for the dash. I want to have A/C without the ATC unit
