Axle bearing numbers

I need to replace the axle bearing and innner and outer seals on my 1970 Plymouth Fury. 8.75 I’m trying to find the Timken numbers so I can get them from a local supplier that is not a parts store.
The kids at the parts stores around here don’t know enough to be any help!

I just ordered the following Tapered Axle Bearing Package from DoctorDiff for Regina, my L-code 1970 Polara 'vert. I chose the Timken (Set 7).

Interestingly, Dr. Diff gives two choices -- Precision and Timken (made in Canada-USA). The price with Timken almost doubles the cost, but that is the one that I ordered on the basis of the info in this thread.

For the differential carrier gasket (aka third member gasket, unless I am mistaken), I did not order from Dr. Diff as there was no brand name provided. Instead, I ordered a Fel-Pro RDS6583 from Rock Auto, which is what @71Polara383 recommended and that @1970FuryConv used for his own 8 3/4 project here.

8695s is the seal used on axle. Do u know the inner dimension by any chance That would be the dimension of the speedie sleeve

That would be the inner dimension of the rubber seal... which is gonna be smaller than the axle so it seals. So that does nothing but confuse the problem even more.

The better place to find that dimension is from the press fit bearings and they have an ID of 1.5625 or 1 13/16"

Of course, the best thing to do is verify before buying anything. Measure where it's not damaged. A cheap pair of digital calipers from Harbor Fright is your friend here. 6 in. Digital Caliper with SAE and Metric Fractional Readings
