B body luggage rack on a C body - anyone?

I think it would look good. I have a spare trunk lid and a brand new reproduction luggage rack.....

This picture is just something I stumbled upon online doing a 1969 Plymouth Sport Fury search....... Other than that I as usual "I KNOW NOTHING !!!"

Indeed. C body trunks can only be described as vast. Anyone not old enough to remember just how large American full sized (or mid sized for that matter) cars used to be, would be stunned if you opened your C body’s trunk. Why clutter up the handsome lines of the car?
