I was looking to get my front seat redone in my 65 Imperial but the funds for that are going elsewhere now.so, I thought maybe I could get a slip on seat cover in the mean time. Any one try one or know someone who has done this. I have seen them for bench seats but would like solid feedback.

From my experience bench seat covers are kind of hard to find, it seems everything is for bucket seats now
My GF found some on Amazon, but they were pretty thin, and I don't see them lasting very long
Another route are the truck bench seat covers that look like native American blankets, can usually find them at truck stops, not real pretty, but they're durable
The main problem is our Imperial bench seats are bigger than almost anything currently made today

I used a Carhartt one on the last F150 I built and it worked and looked real nice. I think the Imp seat is probably bigger that that of a 79 F150.
