Bench testing master with booster

I'm getting closer to completeing my brakes on my '66 300. I bought a new dual master with a new booster. Can I bench test the master with the booster attached? I have only benched a master by itself with a screwdriver in the past. Can I get enough push manually with the the ringed shaft coming out of the booster?

Here is a single master example of what I'm talking about.

It will be a lot less trouble to bench bleed the master cylinder seperate from the booster.

True that. Spend less than a minute and just spin off the four nuts.
