It's on it's way for a booster rebuild...new master waiting.

How long til it's back?
The initial rebuild booster source was 4 weeks and out of Texas...I found a very nice secondary resource out of Illinois that needs 5 shop days and probably 2 shipping days on both ends...about $300.00...I am just scrambling to find a box that will be right for the oblong master/booster..I am checking around for box sizes at Fedex, ex...hope to get out tomorrow.

I hit the cardboard dumpster at my local appliance or furniture store and make my own custom sized shipping boxes. Their cardboard is heavy duty.
I like that idea...I rather keep it one long piece in case the spacers go missing on the receiving end...then I might be screwed.

bolt the spacer back on without the master in place.
I love this forum...there are a ton of very intelligent people with great ideas...I'm sure there will be more issues with Big Red once I get her on the road after new brakes...I can't wait to shoot some video, too.

Found a box that works perfect and still one piece...wrapped it pretty good in plastic and filler...hopefully no brake fluid leaks thru cardboard. Off to Illinois tomorrow!
