70’s pop rocker Boz Scaggs late 70’ & 2018 photo. He’s still around doing shows. If I counted correctly 3 top 10 hits & a top 20. High school friends with Steve Miller of the Steve Miller band. He played in Millers band for a while. They made a friendly bet in school for which one would be the first to have a hit song. Now that’s confidence. Boz also played with the band TOTO. One of my favorites. He got a lot of air time on the stations here in Raleigh in the 70’s. & early 80’s but I don’t remember him ever comming to town to do a show. Maybe he did. 70’s pop rock with a bit of funk & jaz. His work still sounds good today.

Now there's a name I haven't heard in eons.... Enjoyed his music back in the day, will have to dig out an album or two and revisit.

Still have my original copy of Silk Degrees (76) on vinyl.....Lido Shuffle...great song

I’ll go with Breakdown Dead Ahead. Killer guitar work from Steve Lukather.

How about "Loan Me a Dime" with Duane Allman on guitar.

That's a pretty cool 12 minutes.

Very underrated musician. Silk Degrees was all over the airwaves late 70's. As a bass player, I always loved the intro to Lido Shuffle.
