So I've been working on my fury iii I've replaced the blinker switch ( cam and harness) it fixed the first issue of no taillights blinkers etc. Then I was trying to fix my reverse lights not working (fabrication on the steering column) the switch is functioning correctly. Now the brake lights done work when pressing the pedal... ???? Any ideas appreciated Tia

You didn't bump the brake switch out of position while messing around under the dash, did you?

Easy to bump it out of position, and also, check that the two wires that connect to the switch itself haven't come off, or that the wiring spade tabs on the switch haven't broken away - they can be pretty flimsy and break off.

Switch is easily replaced though, trillions out there brand new.

You might try a hydraulic brake light switch which you can thread onto your master cylinder quite easily. I got one to replace the tedious thing bolted down by the brake pedal. MUCH better!
