Gents,

I know that this is a Mopar dedicated site but I would like to know if anyone knows of any websites or message boards that specialize or deal with the 71' Ford that Burt Reynolds drove in the film "White Lightning". Although I am a die hard Mopar fan I do appreciate a full sized, big-block powered automobile from GM, Ford, Chrysler and AMC. Thanks in advance.:argue:

This one?

Doesn't look like anything special to me. Probably had a 429 under the hood, thats what my dad had in his 71 Galaxie Country Squire wagon.
Those 71 Galaxie sedans showed up in several movies back then.
Like the moon buggy chase scene in the James Bond film Diamonds are Forever

and Magnum Force

and Freebee and the Bean (along with a 70 Fury)

and Gator

and even in TV shows like The Streets of San Francisco

Thanks for the youtube links

Thank you very much for the youtube links. I truly enjoyed watching them. I did notice that aside from the White Lightning clips the rest of them featured 1972 Fords. Their rear bumber and grille varied slightly from the previous year but look very similar.:soapbox:

I think I was a bit unclear on what I was looking for. I am interested in any websites or links for someone that may have built a tribute or clone car.
