C Body Windshield

Where can I find a C Body Windshield.
I have one of the only remaining 1976 Dodge police cars from the movie "the Blues Brothers" but a windstorm somehow blew up the hood and wasted the existing Windshield.
What would cause the hood latch not to stop (it's free and easy to work) this from happening??????

before buying be aware that sedan windshields are different that hardtop windhshields

I remember in the movie the hoods on those cop cars were always flying up, maybe they removed the safety latches for effect.

Murray Park has good used glass. I bought a mint original ‘67 windshield from him for about as much as a new junk aftermarket unit.
It fit perfectly, was crystal clear and looked factory. He’d be my first call for glass every time.

Wind can do strange things. You aren't the first one to have this happen. I've seen it a few times where a wind storm was able to overcome the secondary latch and slam the hood into the windshield. Mostly it's been on the slab side cars, but it looks like it could happen to any of them.
