Not entirely sure what you're referring to (?).
It's not about writing them off, it's about recognizing fact from fiction and to refrain from elevating any one race to a false level of achievement because failing to do so is 'racist'.
Yes, he is the smug intellectual type who is not forthright when pressed about subjects which may impact on his career, in fact he has been willing to kiss arse because he recognizes who his masters are, he picks his targets carefully. You give him too much credit.
Are you even joking?, honestly, if you're going to start virtue signalling then I think it's a waste of time having this discussion.

I've been meaning to reply, but time constraints have kept me away... as they will keep this short as well. But essentially to be an inferior race, an entire people would have to be incapable of doing something another of the same species is capable of doing. A chicken is an inferior bird to an eagle. A goldfish is inferior to a shark. Yet... Black doctors exist, black engineers exist, black business owners exist, etc. I have a black friend who sent three kids to college and puts his last name on vanity plates because his favorite TV show is Dallas. And then you have whites who spend their waking moments getting high, using credit cards to tattoo their boobs and buying fireworks instead of a much-needed roof.

I don't know how many blacks you've interacted with over your lifetime, but as was already said, they run the entire spectrum, just like whitey. From straight up 'hood trash, to intellectual, brave and caring. The only thing exceptional about those people is overcoming the cultural gravity that says being successful "ain't black". Those words often come from the mouths of white people... Like Joe Biden.

thanks for the reply. in honesty, with the few experiences i've had, there's never been a bad one. i try to treat everyone with decency and respect and that has always been returned to me. you summed it up perfectly by saying that no race is monolithic. i agree.

Go back and read your original question which I answered and then read your edited version in your response.
WTF are you talking about? He has got to be one of the most down to earth people around. You cast aspirations without providing a single specific example. Plus you ignore my questions. That is what certain leftist lunatics on this forum do. Maybe that is what the far right and far left have in common? All hyperbole and no substance.
I'm calling you out not virtue signalling. If you make an incredible claim at least provide some evidence so we can have a discussion. For example you won't get an argument from me that those blacks on the far left side of the X axis on the bell curve are the problem. The fact of the matter is the majority of blacks overlap with whites on the bell curve. albeit they are shifted further left. That makes most of them decent folks. If you disagree provide some evidence.

Clueless, ignorant and bigoted. The trifecta. Couldn't be better Not to mention completely dense in the head and unable to spell.

By the way your shirt is looking brownish lately.

Interesting story as it seems you are complaining about not fair which has no application to me at all. If life wasn't fair to you that is a shame. Life, as in equal and with respect, is something everyone is entitled to. Well there maybe exceptions. Yet, as we know life for some in this country has been made intentionally unfair for them since the Civil War ended. To have bad luck is one thing but to run into a brick wall put up to keep you out is another. Then to call them stupid, or they made bad decisions, or they are lazy, and countless other things because they can't get over that wall that was built is sanctimonious drivel.

Anyway enough of this now that this thread is more public than many may know.

And here you see the reasons these "honest conversations on race" work no better than "roundtable discussions" or "blue ribbon panels" .

For if you offer a thought that is anything less than the bleeding edge of acquiescence, you're an idiot caveman-Nazi. It is possible to see injustice without canonization of the aggrieved party. I'm pretty sure that if Floyd had held a gun to my pregnant wife's belly, I'd be offering a counterpoint. (Not that he would have lived long enough to become a celebrity.) Perhaps those who cannot differentiate simply lack empathy; the ability to put yourself into a circumstance.

That's called picking a scab, it'll never heal.

It's not about a convicted felon, none of the aggrieved, Trayvon, Brown, Etc. It's about power and advancing an agenda. There won't be any compromises because it's only about victory and power. The "protesters" are simply useful idiots for the lefties to gain power and advance the agenda of destroying America, remaking it in the socialist / communist direction. Many on the so called right also despise the constitution.

Funny how lefties demean us that believe in the constitution, the bill of rights and concepts of the founding fathers, calling us uneducated next to their "educated" opinions. They'll even bring up religion, which they claim to hate, separation and all that, when it suits them to make the case for welfare. Hell, they can't even do arithmetic, when's the last time a blue state had a balanced budget? They've supposedly got strong economies but they're always looking for a handout, reference piglosi's failed "hero's" bill.

    - I still don't know what question you're on about.
    - I'm neither leftist nor far right, and yes, Peterson is dishonest and is a master at whitewashing certain topics. For someone so highly regarded, Peterson could and should do better, he is full of shit, in MY opinion.. Do you defend him because he is Canadian?, or do you truly believe his 'expert' nonsense?
    - Indeed you are virtue signalling, there is plenty of evidence to show that blacks behave very poorly, towards each other and everyone around them. It would be stupid to suggest that all of them are the same, which I have not, that was you making a false statement about me painting them ALL with the same brush. In this instance, it's up to you to prove your point, which, since you do not personally know each and every black man, woman and child on the planet, you cannot claim to know the absolute truth.
Our opinions differ, that's it. Means nothing to me.

I hope that isn't your standard, because it's not all that hard to go find similar examples among every race.

Now if you're saying there are problems with what is presented as popular black culture, (as least in the US... have no idea in the rest of the world) I would tend to agree. However, most popular culture, regardless of race, went to rot decades ago. I don't really participate in it, and many blacks I know don't either. But they are outliers, like me.

Chairman Mao and Joe Stalin probably killed as many if not more than the Nazis, but they get a pass because they were leftists. Pol Pot contributed several million deaths as well.

I was going to mention Stalin or Mao. However, the African continent is filled with genocides as well.

Africans were probably not on the same scale. I did find it curious at the photo op where Piglosi and many of the other house democrats knelt and wore Kente cloth as a tribute to George Floyd. The Kente cloth was worn by the Ashante peoples in what is today Gahana, Those were the same folks who supplied slaves to the British. Interesting optic.
