The word you are looking for is frugal.
Much of the video here is from Portland.
Sheriff Clarke nails it.
It does not matter which racial group owned the least or the most number of slaves, it does not make them any less responsible. Towards which race does all this anger about slavery is being directed?, black people?, no. How about Native Americans or jews?, definitely not. The entire blame falls on white people and only white people. Slavery is just another excuse to brow beat whites, all done at the behest of...guess who! And no mention of the large numbers of whites who immigrated to North America as indentured servants, a nicer way of referring to a slave, perhaps this was yet another form of white privilege...
Here once more we see the disparity between what is acceptable to jewish people according to whom is making a statement or expressing their dislike for alien groups in a physical manner. Hypocrisy is to be expected, but why should it be tolerated?
They are not alone, but they tend to do far more than their fair share of pulling the strings.
The Chinese?, funny as hell, they don't call them the jews of the Orient for nothing! I'm not going to defend them, but their ideology doesn't permeate every aspect of life in the West, at least not yet.
Except, it would be deemed racist.
Germany attempted it and we know how that turned out for them.
I'm unaware of any provisions of the US constitution being applicable only to a particular race.
It says directly "All men are created equal", in the context of the times that meant all men were considered equal before the law because in many cases the English nobility enjoyed special status before the courts. The constitution is silent on the issue of race and slavery because the writers could not agree on the appropriate language. The were spirited discussions on both slavery and freedom of religion, two of the many hot button issues of the time. Southern colonies made it abundantly clear that they would not join the union if slavery was abolished. Nearly all of the framers of the constitution were Christians but it was decided to allow all religions to practice freely as a counter to having a state sponsored and controlled religion. The English monarchy had caused many problems in trying to impose a state religion. Many of the more illustrative articles on the forming of the constitution are preserved in the Federalist Papers for reference.
You are preaching to the choir about the racism currently being directed at whites but how does your approach of viewing a particular race as inferior address the root cause of slavery?
Umm ...you side stepped my point but I'll answer your question in any case. Yes they should be called out on it and they are because without looking for it I've read critical articles on the topic. The fact that western nations have now abandoned slavery and until recently most institutionalised racism should tell you something. But socialists with their oppression mantra based on identity groups are causing us to back slide. Again the solution lies not in more of this kind or any other kind of racism. So back to my original point which you side stepped, that these types of collective action by any race tagainst another race is also "evil".
I'm not naive enough not to recognise Israel's influence but you must not get out much not to see evidence of the nation that benefits most from globalism. During my last trip to Walmart I couldn't find much made in any country but China.
You continue to point out the obvious problems (most based on racism) yet offer nothing but the racist solution of apartheid. My proposed alternative is populist nationalism based on the constitutional foundation of individual sovereignty and democratic national values regardless of race creed colour etc. That is what should be restored as a way forward.
An indentured servant is not the same thing as a slave. Many poor people signed a contract of indenture to cover the cost of the ship ride to the new world. The indenture contract specified a fixed period of service to the holder of the contract in exchange for the cost of the passage. The contracts and their execution were regulated under English Common Law. A slave had no rights under English Law and had a lifetime period of service unless released by the owner of the slave. Slaves were "property", indentured servants were still full citizens.
'Governments' implies not just the USA, but any pro- (insert country) political party/leader is automatically branded a racist, just ask Trump.
The US constitution has absolutely nothing to do with my statement. That document is becoming less and less relevant as the madness increases.
My approach?, stop twisting my words, inventing and adding to my statements is not healthy to a discussion/debate. I'm merely highlighting the status quo.
For the record, once again; I do not support the concept of slavery. However, to highlight the differences between races is not the same as looking down on them as 'inferior'.
No, I actually agree with you on this. I do not believe in the 'equality' being pushed by these commies, but neither should we be lording it over other peoples.
The world's factory has grown into a power to be reckoned with, something that no doubt we will have to deal with one day, but inert crappy Chinese goods do not dictate to people how they should live their lives or imprison people for their thoughts/statements. I could go on, but you get the idea.
In other words, multiculturalism combined with striving for the betterment of the nation. Has been a complete failure in the West, why?, because race matters and race divides us, it's just the way it is. Apartheid is the opposite of racism. Forcing people to live in this huge melting pot hasn't worked and it will never work. Angela Merkel had enough sense to admit to this, even as she helped flood Germany with people who will never assimilate.
It wasn't a walk in the park for them either, and there were cases where they were never released from servitude.
True, the system was prone to abuse, some indentured servants were not treated much better than a slave. The main difference was that a slave was always considered property without any chance of legal redress or freedom except by the good graces of the master.
You seem to be overwhelmed by leftist labelling of everything they don't like as racist. They recognise Trump's national populism as threat to their socialist agenda. As evidenced by his SC appointments he is a strong advocate of conservative legal interpretations which stay true to the intent of the founding fathers. Folks on the far right like yourself have a lot in common with the far left who also have no use for democracy or the "document". It's original interpretation is our only hope to fend off the globalist hordes.
But moving them out to another geographical location is not lording it over them? Aside from the historic fact that such relocation attempts are never practical the fall back option always ends very badly for those being moved. Just ask the Kulaks.
So you don't see the link between these two phenomena? IMHO China's rise due to globalism is directly linked to the rise of the identity politics of leftist progressivism together with the erosion of our basic liberties. Here in Canada we elected a drama teacher PM who has signed on to Agenda 2030, made it illegal to advocate the real science on gender, implements carbon taxation and commends China for its global leadership particularly its reaction to the Wuhan virus. He is a corporate globalist wet dream. We see examples of these kinds of politicians worldwide and they are all globalist puppets. So I think you are creating a false dichotomy.
We all know Merkel is a globalist schill so her actions aren't surprising. You are conflating the modern interpretation of multiculturalism aka diversity with the traditional concept of the melting pot. The US prior the the immigration legislation of the mid 60s (that you referenced), is a case study on how to effectively implement an immigration regime in the national interest. Back then you came to the US to become an American not a hyphenated American. That system worked well for 200 years. Today on the other hand it is all about maintaining your home nation's cultural identity (diversity) over that of your adopted country. We need to go back to what worked. When you claim apartheid is the opposite of racism you strain credulity. Now if you had pointed out what Israel is doing with its ethnic minorities is similar to apartheid ...
In another development, there have been major troops movements on the India-China border in the Himalayan region. About 35 Chinese and about 25 Indian soldiers are reported killed in hand to hand fighting. I suspect that both countries are using this as a distraction from economic problems and the Covid 19 virus. Starting a war is an age old trick to keep the populations of a country from looking too closely at the failure of government. Or as Samuel Johnson was famously quoted "Patriotism is the last refuge of the scoundrel". Story at www.drudgereport.com
every small town around here has had either a blm or kkk protest lately. there are 1200 people in our town and only 1or 2 black families.
the kids in diesel trucks are going by and rolling smoke on the protesters , people are yelling and throwing things at them, etc. they are a laughing stock. i wondered why would they waste their time here?
i was walking down the street the other day and saw an orange paper stapled to a telephone pole. an upcoming blm protest. join us, we will provide a free t-shirt, sign and sign making supplies. now, i am wondering who is funding them? supplies for every small town must cost a good deal of coin.
