The steering wheel is one thing I prefer to have new. Todays resins will not shrink, fade or crack. The guy that did mine guarantees it for as long as I own the car.

I'd wager a crack free original, to your desired standards would cost the same or more.

I’d try and find an original fleet steering wheel and restore it to CHP white issue. IMHO.

The steering wheel is a standard A-Body/B-Body wheel, just in white, a full recast is the only way of restoring the CHP wheel.

Music to my ears...I do miss smelling the tooth dust these days...the N95 and splatter shield lessens the fun factor.
