Have some parts for sale if anyone needs them??? 1966 Chrysler Newport hood, electric bench seat base with switches, radiator support c body , left hand front fender. And speedo meter also, let me know if you need more pics, parts are located 25 miles from me , so please be patient!
1966300Sleeper. I see that you are new here. Search the posts for "Flyin Whale" and "Flying Whale" and I think that you will like that car as it is in many respects, a sleeper, at least until you hear it...
Many thanks!! For the heads up!! I saw an article on that car!! Truly a great build! Funny how things turn out!! I always wanted a dodge polara , but ended up with my 300!! Basically a survivor car! It was in storage from 1986-2017! The original owner worker for Chrysler in the 1960’s and had absolutely no options fitted on this car, not even a brake booster! Lol!!
It’s funny, this hood was on my 300 when I got it, had to pick up the original hood later it was in storage?? Go figure eh! Glad they didn’t fit the whole front of the Newport on my car! That would be weird!
Ok! Here go’s Speedo $125 Hood $125 Radiator support $100 Front fender $ 75 Electric seat frame $ 175
Hope I’m not being to unreasonable with my pricing just figured it was cheaper than other parts I’ve seen thanks!!
Hello John , at present the seat base is untested, I can go out to where the parts are located and test it for you, but it won’t be until tomorrow as they are located 25 miles north of me. Thanks for looking and let me know your thoughts!
Thanks for the update. I am interested if the whole unit is solid and restorable. Motor, switch, cables, etc., seat mounts, all serviceable? If it all works that's a bonus. Thanks, John
Thanks for he thanks for the reply John, going on observation , the whole unit seems to be in good condition considering it’s age, I am heading up to where the parts are located later today , to attend a local car club and will test the unit then, I will update you later thanks again! Carlos!
Good evening John just hooked up the seat frame to a power supply and everything works as it should super smooth and quiet just could use a good clean just figured I would let you know as I promised , Carlos
