Only 50 some made back in 1963. When most got scrapped almost all were complete. Here's one off a car, original patina, never polished. Notice the 'turbine' fin design of the base. Expensive? Yes ! Desirable by Turbine collectors? Yes, yes !! Asking $650. including USPS Priority shipping fully insured from 48317. Paypal ok. PM please. Thank you for looking.
Wow. It's the first time in my 35 years of american cars hobbying that I see a part of a Chrysler Turbine for sale. But if I were you, I'd put that thing on eBay. I'm pretty sure it would go higher than that.
No, HELL YES! Especially with very very few produced. Damn that thing is super cool. Best Of Luck With The Sale. Speaking of Turbine Cars.....
Dang, so tempting. I'm a big Turbine enthusiast. I've seen 5 of the remaining Turbines; 4 left to go. I can't justify spending that for something that will sit on a shelf though, especially with the currency conversion rate now.
Alot of the turbine's themselves were taken out before scrapping the bodies, because they were made in the states. I'm guessing a smart loader operator, or possibly former owner, or dealership employee removed it. Given it's coolness factor and knowing the car's fate. Probably the neatest item ever posted for sale on this forum.
