First question, it seems from metering my replacement harness/ pattern. The two-prong plug contains two insulated pins, one energizes a filament for the cornering light in a 69 Plymouths front bumper. The other prong is energized when a turn signal either right or left is selected and indicated in the cornering lamp in the bumper, with a fender signal lamp illuminated at the same time, because the fender left, or right are wired in parallel.

Second question, yes, I have looked in my service manual and have determined the pin out of the two eight pin connectors, one has the single keyway the other two key ways and are each black/ dark color. If your familiar with the pin out of the connector take a look and confirm I have traced the connector to the electrical device on the other end of the wire. I had to remove the harness close to the closing time of Hidden Valley Auto Parts and couldn't label the ends. Thanks in advance a picture of course is included a quick sketch.
