I am going thru the electrical on my 67. Here is how I overcame an issue with the dash light dimmer wheel. I was trying to be the least invasive that I could and tried everything. Here is my last resort. It worked. After adding the solder, I took a exstreamly small file to smooth it out. I tried to get it to flow under the copper tab, and MAY have succeeded it some getting under there. BTW, you have to file the copper, and the coil a bit, just to give the solder a place to adhere to.
