The 1976-1979 furies...the regular seem to have round headlights and C bodies and the Gran Furies have double stacked square headlights and B bodies(unsure). What are some other real(like engine specs/bodies) differences I need to know?

In the mid seventies the engines were forced through regulations causing lowered compression ratios, which dropped power significantly. The cars were also extremely heavy.

1. The plural of Fury is Furys.
2. You have to know when the Fury moniker and its 1,000,000 derivatives were applied to C-bodies and when it applied to B-bodies.
3. In 1974, the Plymouth C-body line was called Fury with the Plymouth Gran Fury being the top of the Fury line. It was characterized by it's single headlamp versus the lowere lines having dual horizontal headlamps. The B-body Furys had the stacked headlights.

The C-body "Gran Fury" (the bigger one of the two) ended in 1977, and came back as an R-body in 1980, then as an M-body in 1982 - so no 1979's. There are C-Body "Furys" earlier than your date range.

The B-body "Fury" (stacked headlights in later years) ended in 1978.

It may help folks help with your queries if you provided a few more specifics? Maybe take a look at the dealer brochures, etc., online in an Internet search to get you started?

Or just check back here and see what people come up with..you are in the right place for help. Chart in post 3 can also get you going.
