Anyone have any idea if I can use a newer C body spindles and disc brake set up on my 62 880?

yes you can, a 74 to 78 set up should work. They are cheap and plentiful. Check out the Chrysler 300 web site, they have an extensive write up on early cars disc brake conversions. You can also call Murray Park @ 1-419-448-0293 and get specific information and parts for this disc brake conversion project. Good Luck, it will work I did a 66 C-Body Sport Fury Convertible to 4 wheel discs, all Chrysler parts.

What is the very top of your steering knuckle to the very bottom of the of your steering knuckle measurement? And what is the center of the spindle from the top? If you get those measurements and cross reference with someone who has a factory disc brake steering knuckle, you will know your answer. If they are off, you will start messing with the geometry of the suspension and steering. I am sure someone here could get the disc brake steering knuckle measurements for you.
