Hi , I am looking for some advice. I am replacing all the hydraulic brake parts including the metal lines on a 69 Polara wagon, 4 wheel drum. I am getting everything to come apart except the lines in the distribution block they won't budge. Any tips? Can I use heat?

If you're replacing everything, cut the lines at the dist. block, take it off and give it a good cleaning.

After you get the block off, cut the line next to the fittings. Then you can use a 6 pt socket to free the fittings.

Try some taps with a small hammer to the block first, before using any heat. Might not need the heat . . .
