Door Panel Vinyl Painting? Maroon/Metallic Red

Hi all,

I recently did a reupholstery job on my front bench seat and also used some Rit Dye on my carpet. This all turned out great so far and now I am looking into what to do with my doorpanels.

I have some worn off/discoloration mainly on the top part and I have the Maroon and Red Metalluc interior. Does anyone know of a matching Vinyl Paint or has any other ideas on how to freshen up the color on those?

The SEM paint works well, but you are limited to the standard colors. The secret is to follow the procedure to the letter.

thank you, i will check out what they have! The problem is finding something that has this light metallic sparkle to it. Seems to be non existent.

My local auto paint supplier was able to do a custom match in SEM paint.

Not sure if they still offer it but Just Dashes used to have a DIY kit. You may want to call them to see if it is still available.

Interior dye that i've purchased to spray with a gun is lacquer. This makes me say "find a duplicolor touch-up can" and have at it. Prep is the most important step.
