B-body doors are smaller than the C-body items.
The B-body weatherstrips were some of the first to be in repro, years ago. MORE demand, then as now. Whereas C-body items were always "used cars" that ended up not being restored OR bringing big $$$$ when they were. So the C-body market has and will continue to lag because of that.
If you look at the C-body weatherstrips, the end pieces are fused onto what would otherwise be "roll goods", plus any right angle items in between. In that respect, if a suitable substitution can be found for the straighter pieces AND the end pieces can be salvaged, the new rubber can be attached to the old and re-used end pieces to make a new weatherstrip, I suspect.
The end pieces are usually held in place (like at the bottom of the upper roof rail at the front cowl/A-pillar end) by push-in plastic retainers. Similar situations on the doors themselves. A big piece where it contacts the cowl piece and also at the rear section at the belt line (on hardtops). Roll goods can replace the piece on the lower part of the doors. Some adhesive can be used on those lower door items as the OEMs used plastic retainers inserted into the rubber to hold the rubber in place (with matching holes in the lower door area). If the spacing can be transferred to the new roll goods rubber, carefully, they can be reused, I suspect.
Take care,
