Dual Heater Core for AC cars 1965-68

I ran across this deal on ebay. $53 w shipping, vs $250+ other places I saw. I would snatch for my 65 Newport, except it has knee-knocker AC (different climate box). I thought of buying to flip, but hasn't been worth the hassle before. Auction ends ~8 am Aug 15 so jump.

I see that one is missing a junction tube that the other ones on ebay have, so I wonder if it is inferior in other ways also?

And upon seeing the 2nd pic, I thought 3 things:

1. A guy could probably find 2 generic/other-car cores of suitable size and plumb them together.
2. I wonder how many OEM cores leaked because of those 2 rubber hoses (assuming the OEM was done that way?)
3. I now know why my Fusey cars were toasty-warm in winter, and my Slab cars not so much.
