I bought a tail pipe for my '66 Imperial from them a couple years ago. I dealt with them directly and all went well, good pipe, no problems. Cheaper than a local shop would do it for including shipping ! And no 10.00 Shop fee my local Independent shop wanted to charge me.

Thanks, good to hear! However, they don't have a number listed.. do you know the company name? I'd like to contact them directly/outside of ebay if possible.

He is a drop shipper. Just be aware of that.
No technical knowledge. He does the Year, Make, Model thing on his eBay seller package he bought at 3:00 A.M.

Ok, how does that work? Then who produces the exhaust systems, and for such a low price?

Just had a 2 1/2" to mufflers, 2.25" to rear exhaust done at my local shop for '65 Chrysler 383, dual complete $850 if you need a comparative price. (They did it right with aluminized tubing and stainless mufflers)

He bought a software package that has all the aftermarket exhaust systems manufacturers provide to distributers.
You give him Make Model Year, he punches it in on his desktop, everything all the aftermarket manufacturers info popup.
He give you the price, you give him CC#, sale done. Order goes to appropriate distributer of that manufacturer. They take instant cash transfer from eBay seller and they ship it to you from their warehouse.

There's a LOT of aftermarket manufacturers. Especially in Canada and Mexico. That's why so cheap.

Thanks Dave, Good to see your happy with the work!
I'm just looking for the exact stock pipes(mainly dual 2 1/4" from manis to muffs) and stock size and sounding mufflers. I've already got 2 sets of extra NOS 2" tailpipes(1960's Napa aluminized pipes) that came with the car when I bought her from original owner.
I'm going to do the installation myself.

Ok sure, but who is manufacturing these C-body exhaust systems so cheap, and for a drop ship market? Why don't we know about them directly? Why would anyone pay Waldron or Accurate $1,100. when the same thing sells at $450. shipped? I'm miffed... oh I see now you've appended your post, answering my "who" question. So Mexico and Canada, eh?

Another note, the original exhaust for these cars was steel tubing. Good if you drove it every day, would probably last 4-5 years. The modern stuff with aluminum and stainless will last 20-25 years or probably as long as you do.

It went up on the tubing in case I ever decide to go bigger on the engine. If not, no harm done as the car is not a show car. Price was within $25 so why not.

Waldron gave me a quote on their dual aluminized steel setup for Mathilda at $426.00 + $100 for shipping - $45 if I let them cut the pipes into sections foor easy shipping. That comes to $481 for their work. HARD to beat!

They look like my best bet too. They're close enough I can pick-up and haul full length pipes in my car saving a bit of coin.

Not even close, at least in the northeast... "Modern" production aluminized pipe is thinner to begin with, and the places they bend it scrapes through the coating, along with any swedging or welded areas. That's where it rusts. If you get 5 years from a system, even with the car stored indoors and driven sparingly, you're lucky. I actually paint all the store-bought systems I buy now. It adds a few years to them. Custom shops use a thicker base tubing, which rusts the same way, but takes longer to do so. Only way you'll get away true long life is to use stainless material throughout.

I fell your pain in the northeast will all the road salt. West coast does not have that issue.

If I lived close enough to Waldron, I would NOT deliberate OR hesitate! Save the shipping money and go get some good pipes made by a shop that's done it for a LONG time! I'm not plugging them for gain, just exhorting you to do what you know is best. Tell us how they work when you get them all on.

Years ago, muffler shops had automated mandrel benders that were run by a crude system using punch cards. The punch cards duplicated the OEM specs.
Those things used to spit out the exact clone.
Today, the guy uses the tube bender by eye. Dammit.

IMG_0864.jpg Waldron looks great, even with shipping.
Just spoke to Ruth over there.
8-10 week lead time currently for a full dual exhaust system for GG

Attachment also applies for 1967 C-bodies.
