Eddie Crochran June 11th / 4th of July shows Albert Lea MN

It's that time of year again when my hometown of Albert Lea MN has their two main car shows. It would be nice to have some more Mopars to attend. Both of these shows have way to many Corvettes, Camaros, and Mustangs.

On Saturday June 11th the annual Eddie Crochran weekend. Registration runs till 11:30 am and the show goes to 2pm.

North Broadway Ave on Monday July 4th from 2-6pm will be packed with some of the areas best cars.

Yes the rain finally has let up here. A pretty decent showing of Mopars for once. But of course there are no C's.

Just thought I'd give you guys a little update on the hot and humid downtown 4th of July show. Lots of nice iron but per the usual not to many Mopars.

For the 2023 installment of the Eddie Cochran Weekend car show, and it decided to rain all day. Although the rain there was a decent turnout. Mopars were nicely represented.

For anyone who is in the southern Minnesota or northern Iowa area. Or anyone looking for a reason to take a trip. Albert Lea and the American Legion is having their annual 4th if July downtown car show. There will also be great food and cold drinks, too.

I'll be at work that day, unfortunately, this summers plans have been put on hold.

Not much to report on the July 4th 2023 show. Got there a little later than I planned. The attendance was down and the new local Corvette club kind of took over. Pretty much the same cars as normal and no real standouts.

I brought out my dad's '99 Camaro convertible for the first time. Didn't realise that something that small would hit me.
