Hello everybody. Im running a edelbrock 600 1406 on my 383. It bogs at the first second at WOT. i Was wandering what jet sizes and springs i should run on it? I have used holleys on all my cars before but never a edelbrock. So some advice would be Nice

Let us know how it goes. I might need that kit too.

Try a different hole before spending any money.

My 383 -66 converted from 2bbl to 1406 end up with a quite odd and lean jet/rod combination to run best but it's different from engine to engine what you end up with.
I run Lunati 256/262, HP manifolds and 915 heads, otherwise stock untouched bottom end.

I got an AEM O2 sensor and my 383 runs best with 89 main jet and 058/052 rod (P/N 1438) wich give 14-15 AFR at cruise and 13 AFR at light acceleration (rod opening at 7hg vacum) on my engine.
Secondary jet 86 gives 12.8 at WOT on my engine.
But remember, your 383 maybe need a totaly different jetting/rod.

One thing that could give you bog is if you plug the intake preheat crossover, did this once and couldn't get rid of the bog but as soon as I open the crossover the bog dissapeared.
