Edelbrock 2186 Intake Manifold

Hello everyone,
Looking for some advice here, I am interested in purchasing this manifold for my Newport. Has anyone here used it on their 383 / 400 engines. Curious if it comes with an EGR block off plate, or does the factory plate work with it?

Edelbrock website install instruction pdf claims the manifold is packaged with 2 pipe plugs to plug the EGR holes when no EGR valve is needed or used.
