Edlebrock carb

has anyone used an Edlebrock AFB type carb on a 69 440 "K" code engine...? I'm faced with either rebuilding or replacing the holley 4166 carb and not being a big fan of holley's am thinking about one of the new Edlebrocks as a replacement.

I have a 750 performer edlebrock on my 383, its been on there about a year brand new from summit, and I cant complain so far. I just bolted it on set the idle mixture and haven't looked back. I would think something similar on a 440 wold be equally as good.
