Imagine taking that to Cochrane and asking for a service. The good old days of American Motoring.

Thx for posting.
They wouldn't know where to start. I wouldn't know where to start. Parts would be a nightmare I am guessing. It does have the 308 Flathead which is good though.

("Porkie's") Fast for their time. Headers?

One of the few over square six cylinders, had dual carbs from the factory (twin power) and had some pretty legendary runs against 303 Oldsmobiles on the Nascar circuit in the early 1950's. Very few of these survived as they were a hot ticket on the derby circuit in later years.

Twin H Power was a hot ticket on those cars. As mentioned earlier, these cars tore up the NASCAR circuit in the early '50s. They handled better than anything else at the time because of their lower center of gravity. It was the first model of a car that you "stepped down into" to get in. Think Doc Hudson in the movie Cars
.

Cool. My dad had one of these but a 2 door, think it was a ‘48. He always reminisced fondly of it. He traded it on a new ‘55 Chevy, a terrible disappointment after the Hudson and probably the root of his disdain for GM products. It was quickly booted for a ‘56 Belvedere hardtop.

Several sources for Hudson parts nationwide. No issues there.

That’s a cool car Nick! I have to admit looking at this one for sale more than once this past week but I’ve got bigger fish to fry at the moment lol

It was originally my great uncle's, he has one New and wanted another. My cousin found this one out west in the 80s and they restored it. When he passed away we bought it off my cousin, when my dad got sick around 2006/07, we sold it back to my cousin around 08 who took it back out west, he ended up selling it to someone near red deer around 11
