Favorite Forward Look Cars

The thread about the 61 DeSoto got me thinking about what my favorite FL cars are, so after much thought I made a top 20 (I started with top ten, but kept thinking of one more) by make and year, not model particularly...
Here's mine, what are yours. Mine have no rhyme or reason, just what I like the best.

I really love these cars, but I have a long standing favorite... I fixed your list to reflect that. Some have accused me of having a one track mind...

Outside of those, you can keep the rest.
Out of the above few, one particular model keeps floating to the top of the list. My grandfather's new DeSoto very similar to this:

Not the most beautiful but it made me a Mopar man for life.

Let's face it, It is impossible to narrow it down.

But if I had $$, and was going out to get one tomorrow, it would be a '59 Coronet.

And to be more specific that 60 Chrysler has a 300 grille badge.
Next come the white 60 Dodge shown above.
Then the 59 Desoto and Dodge.

My favorite Forward Look car is any Forward Look car. If I absolutely had to pick just one, it would have to be a 1960 Dodge Polara D-500 with the 383, Sonoramic intake, swivel buckets and all the bling like the bumper extensions on top of the rear bumper.

Favorite Forward Look dash, no question, early 60's Chrysler Astra-dome.

Actually Bryan, numbers 3/17&18 on your list are not Forward look cars. Good choices non the less.

I am fortunate enough to have my top three favorites, but the third one still needs attention, but I am getting there in assembling all the elements to get it done.........................

Mine will be white/copper side inserts, fins, & decklid



But I also very much like the 1957-8 Desotos, like Stan.

I know you are right by definition. Forward look cars supposedly ended in 61, but I think a 63 Imp is as much as a 61-62 and a 62 Chrysler is as much as a 61. I have always thought of the 64 880 as the very last one. The forward look cars didn't "really" disappear until the 65 total redesign.

Ive been saying for years I will one day own a 58-59-60 DeSoto convertible. If I came across the right Dodge of the same years perhaps I would pull the trigger, BUT I also lie the Chrysler, 57-61..... The Plymouths are really cool too.
Bottom line is Monaco75 is thinking what Im thinking "It is hard to narrow one down. All of em are drop dead gorgeous!"

It is much easier for me to just say what my Favorite 50s GM cars are then to pick my favorite Exner. So here they are.

I love every Forward Look car but i am a slight bit more partial to the Plymouth breed it could be because they were the lower end brand that the average guy had sitting in there driveway .
