No one re-pops those plastic straps for 65-66 C-Bodies. You are pretty much stuck with used ones - if you can find them. . .

You can go ahead and purchase plastic straps for later C’s. Might not be 100% correct but still should look tighty. I believe Vans Auto produces years 68-73?

I'm not a very computer savvy person . . . but have been wondering for a while if these could be scanned, and digitally printed? The 65 appears to have been a one-year only style - flat, and molded in black plastic. Maybe Chrysler found out they were breaking easily, and went to the "bowed" style in 66 to give a little more room for the wires?

Check with Classic Industries. I'm not sure if they're the same ,but I bought some for my Coronet.

The Chevy ones look the most correct - I'd be very interested to see if they're right...

I got the correct straps for the driver side inner fender from Gary Goers. They were (are) perfect.

Has anybody taken over his business? Last I heard, he was calling it quits and looking for someone to keep the business open.

I'm not sure. Steve would know as he communicates with him regularly.

    Good to know...

I have a stash of originals. I'd be willing to devote one for RnD re 3D printing mentioned above...

I got the ones for my 68 Fury from Vans at Carlisle. The package said 69-70 C-body, but they matched up with with one of the originals that I took off the car. It even had the correct bump out for the washer hose. Not sure if the 65 Fury would be the same.

68 and newer are quite different even though they fit 65-67

68's, at least early ones use the same style straps as the 65-67 C's.

I had the same problem, could find them but only in a set for an E body, had a bunch of others I didn't have a use for. I found these from Restoration specialties, 2.5in. center dist. They're in their catalog but not all from the catalog is on the website. You'd have to call them, $1 / ea.
