Will 15" wheels off of a mid 80s Fifth Avenue fit a C Body. Supposedly they are 15" with a 5 x 4.5" bolt pattern. I don't know if it's an M-body or an R-body, and the salvage yard is confirming they are 5 x 114.3mm and not 5 x 100mm.

Also hoping they have the 3 "nubs" for dog dish hub caps, if anyone happens to know . . .

thanks!

Not sure about the nubs, but the wheels fit nicely on my '65. Thats's where the wheel covers came from as well.

Chrysler rwd car wheels all shared the 5x4.5" bolt circle, although some now convert it to metric measurement. Probably some of the Dodge pickups and D/P 4wd vehicles, too. Seems like a car club friend used some 15x8 Ramcharger wheels on the back of his '69 Super Bee, painted body color with hubcaps?

Second-gen Cordoba and Dodge Mirada alloy wheels work, too! Look good on the Slabs, too. Take the "5 + 5" spoke Cordoba wheels (about 1981 or so), machine out the smaller spokes, and you have an "alloy Magnum 500"-look wheel.

Enjoy!

The 15x7, 4.0 inch backspacing, 1980-1989 J-M-R (R's had a type you rarely come across today - last photo) aluminum alloys have found easy usages on most any 5x4.5 Mopar.

I have done this look below on 15x7, 5x4.5 M-body cop steelies .. right below are 1978 Magnum XE caps. The road wheel caps would bolt up fine too.

the very bottom set is the 15x7, 5x4.5, J-M-R stock, NON-police steel wheel. Many, if not all, '80-'89 civi steelies also have "ears" for poverty caps as well (check b/4 buying).

IF you want 15x7 "cop car" wheels, but without the hub cap nubs, think "1979 Magnum GT" wheels. Take a center cap and possibly trim rings. Same with the 15x8 "Kit Car" wheels, except the Magnum GT wheels have a special heavy metalflake coating over a black primer.

When I bought the new Magnum GT wheels for my '80 Newport, the set of 4, center caps, trim rings, and retainer screws for the center caps was $200.00 total over the front counter at an area Dodge parts department. So I ended up with a total of three sets.

In many respects, the '79-'81 R-cars were better than they should have been. A few changes in equipment and sales orientations would have helped a bunch, but it seemed that Chrysler and others were in a "Super Malaise" orientation. With their more-pastel colors and velours, while also modulating which corporate building lights got turned on.

Thanks everyone. I thought I saw on one of the "wheel identifier" sites that some Fifth Avenues came with 5 x 4" bolt patterns, so I was confused. From what I'm reading here, they are all 5 x 4.5", with the 3 nubs for dog dishes, and are 15" x 7". Hoping to pick them up by Monday.

The little 1991 or so front wheel drive New Yorker Fifth Ave car has the 5x4 bolt wheels. Good cars, if you had the extended wheelbase with the 3.8 motor.

Yes they do have " nubs" for dog dish poverty hubcaps! Lol
