Most 300 guys probably won't talk about it(they wouldn't at the 300 tent in Carlisle) cause it's not a letter car. Car needs total restoration, lots of it or a great parts car. I don't have time or money to spend, too many other projects.
The car is a factory 383 straight stick car, no bucket seats. I removed the pushbutton dete panel before someone stole it. They already yanked on the driver door and sprung the hinge. I have the grille(not in pictures), and most chrome. Priced at $3000. I'm ready for all the backlash about too much.
I'm not going to start parting it out, if I do it will be to keep parts for my '62 Newport cpe. unless...

Yikes! They waited too long.:BangHead:

When they had the 300 national meet here a couple years ago in Elkhart Lake, GlennB49 came with his '79 300 and me in my '62 300 conv. car. We parked in the street by the show and a lot of members came to look at my car. They were friendly but unless my car was a letter car, the club did not recognize it.

I would fix the interior, exterior lenses, and get it up and running fix the rusty floors and leave the body how it is
