, 9 passenger, hardtop, 361, with air. They made very few of these, less than 900. Chrysler thought GM was going to make smaller cars so they did the same in 62, only GM went bigger. So to give Dodge a full size wagon they slapped a 61 Dodge front on to a 62 Chrysler. It’s kind of cool and it followed me home today. I will get you more pictures after I get some sleep. Do you like it or think it’s ugly?

Wow that is gorgeous! I disagree with his babble about a Dodge front end slapped on a Chrysler, but other than that he's one lucky bastard to have found that one!

It's perfect
Only because I have a 2dr coupe and I fall in love with it on a daily basis best of luck with it

A few more pics, found it 20 + years ago bought from the original owner. At the time I had no idea what an 880 was , the hardtop part intrigued me as I thought they only made them in the 50,s. Pretty loaded 383 auto, p/s, p/b, p/w p/l 9pass and roof rack. Have another one with a/c and might put it in the white one some day. Found some bucket seat in a 64 New Yorker and put them in. You could get buckets in a Chrysler wagon bit not sure on the Dodges. They are a Chrysler body with Dodge sheet metal. 62 where a rush job to bring back a big car 63 and 64 got more Dodge styling as they had more time to develop them. 880 is a C body. The 63 Dodge wagons still used the 62 Chrysler taillights. Have some door panels to install this fall made by SMS .

What a pleasure to see these two FINE wagons, Dodge 880 wagons no less. Definitely more of an Exner look on the '62, but both are amazing. Congrats on your new fleet addition.........
