The passenger front window fell off the regulator on my 63 New Yorker. I was able to get it back on so I could close the window, but I'd like to figure out why it happened so I can fix it.

Does anyone have any good photos (my FSM isn't very clear) on how the window itself connects to the regulator? Is it bolted?

I'm not familiar with this car but on my 70 Dodge truck the glass was glued to the frame, not pined to the frame like the later cars.
Also on my truck the frame was steel and was rusted, not an issue with the later cast frames.

I don't think the factory actually glued them, there was a piece of rubber and the glass was pressed into the frame (if it is this style).

Just had the same issue this summer.
My Monaco uses both. The plastic push pin and the black gasket/tape.

I believe mine used the black gasket tape. The window sits into a channel on the regulator, and in the channel there is a black rubber U shaped insert. The U has more of a right angle at each bottom though.
