would the suspension on a 66 fury iii be the same as a 66 B body car, I need to order some front end parts can someone help me with this.

Thanks Skeeter66

All the parts should be readily available listed under your proper application.

Nothing that I can think of would be the same.

The places that I have found that has a complete rebuild kit does not list anything for a C body car, do you have any suggestions

I'm pretty sure PST does, you may need to call, many sited do not list C-Body stuff but have it.

I got the kit for my 69 from PST, check Rare Parts website as well.

I can't answer to the quality of what they have, but I think Kanter at one point was offering re-build kits for C-body cars. The kits are different for WITH disc brakes than without disc brakes, but you probably knew that already.

Do a search for Moog Parts. Had everything but lower ball joints for the Monaco. Very good parts that many repair shops swear by.

Moog was a very strong aftermarket suspension parts supplier, back then, even now.

Many probably don't list "kits" for C-body cars as "the market" is in B-body cars, BUT they still have the C-body parts, just don't package them in "a kit". Still, you might inquire if they'd make a C-body "kit" for you, hopefully with "kit" pricing. Never hurts to ask!

I might recommend that you go ahead and purchase the torsion bar removal tool and also new rear boots for the bar. I'd also recommend you stay with the normal rubber bushings and such, rather than polyurethane. Better at NVH than polyurethane and will probably last at least as long, to me.

Moog website is: www.moogparts.com. You can look up your application by year and model, the website will then supply you with the appropriate part numbers for the parts you need. Moog does not do web sales, but if you type in your zip they will give you a list of Moog dealers in your area.

Agreed .....Moog stuff is available almost everywhere m. AS mentioned maybe the LBJ could give you trouble locating one

I found that the LBJ often is sold with the lower control arm. My mechanic said mine were good and didn't replace them.

I completely rebuilt my 65's front end with a lot of parts not listed for my car by the suppliers. Chrysler did not make special ball joints, wheel bearings etc for cars of the same size category regardless of of B or C. I have 69 Super Bee lower control arms in my 65, they were identical. Common sense must prevail here and many supply houses will use a cross-over book to get the exact part you need. Even a lot of steering boxes are the same for various models but where you have to be really careful is when you purchase new idler and pitman arms.

Between Rock Auto and Car Parts Discount, you can get everything you need. CPD has RareParts lower ball joints, and they also have pitman arms if you need one. For the rest of the parts, buy the Moog stuff. As long as your car hasn't been hit in the front, you should be able to use the standard upper control arm bushings. The offset kit is available to compensate for a tweaked, sagged, or poorly jigged sub frame. I would avoid the PST kits. Some of the parts are poor quality. I just replaced a PST idler arm that failed after less than 3000 miles. When I first tried to install the PST kit, the upper ball joints that they supplied wouldn't screw into the control arms.
