Hello,

Switching a '67 Plymouth Fury III Convertible to EFI w/ the Holley Sniper system and it recommends using the 3/8in line for fuel.
It has the 5/16in sending unit currently. We ordered one from rock auto that was allegedly 3/8in (SUDG-30) but after 3 weeks and 2 returns I'm pretty confident the listing on their site is just wrong.

Poking around the internet I've only seen 5/16 available for C-Bodies. Anybody know where I can find a 3/8 or if any a/b/e body would have the same gas tank?

i swear Vans Auto has them but their website hasn't been working for a couple weeks

Are you planning on some racing? 1/4 mile, extended wide open runs? If not 5/16ths should be good. Just make sure you eliminate restrictions in the lines, as in fuel pump and filters that are 1/4 inch. I have seen them.
Left is Fram from parts store from the 73 Chrysler listing. Right is a Wix from sam listing. Both are listed as 5/16ths.

Holley seems to want you to put their fuel pumps near the tank, and they supply their own input and output fuel filters. I agree that the short distance from the tank sender to a near-tank mounted pump would be fine in 5/16.

You might have to modify you current pick up from 5/16" line to 3/8" there are places that will do that. The only C body factory 3/8" pick up I ever saw was out of an early 70's Police car.

$40 is a good price for a sending unit. But the extra 1/16 inch line diameter will make no difference for Noxxender unless his engine is making 500+ hp.

So MONC440's suggestion ended up being what we needed.
I was confused when researching this because the SUDG-30 recommended by rock auto is COMPLETELY wrong, seemingly.
We ended up taking the one in the tank out to figure out how we were going to do the return line port and realized it matched the one on eClassic's and not the one we had gotten previously. Also found that the fuel level sensor is damaged so we are replacing it with the larger one while its out. Though it sounds like we don't explicitly need to. Thanks for the information/assistance everyone!
