Hey there!
Actually I'm thinking of getting a 69-71 Newport 2-door for a summer-daily, thats why i came here ;)
I life around Munich, Bavaria :occasion14: and i'm 27 and fell in Love with the '70 cuda at the age of 13. 4 years ago I was able to let my dream come true:

Since this U-code is still wearing it's original paint it's my fair weather car!
R-codes are out of my range... anyway i need a daily and what would be cooler than a sister for her I thought of a C-body!
Cheers,
Mike

Welcome to the site from the Motor City! Nice Cuda, Mike!

Dave, I think he means 4 years prior to being 27, so 23. Not 4 years after falling in love with it, which would be 17.

U-code is 440 and R-Code is 426?

Welcome aboard Mike. A lot of my family comes from Salzkammergut in Austria just across the border. Good choice on the Fusies. Please keep us up to speed on your search for a C Body. BTW with the price of fuel in Europe you may want to look at a small block Polara or Fury...

Hi Mike,

we usually see us on another board:3gears:
And no, you don't want a 318 car :-))

Carsten

Thanks Folks!
well since I already got a car with punch I could imagine even a 318, or is it really that horrible in a cbodie? I ones drove a 318 chally (1973) and i enjoyed the ride.
Ah and hello Carsten!

I'm fine with my 318 and it's a smogger to boot.*

*Given that my driving experience is a smogger 360 in a 4 ton van and a smogger 318 in a 2 ton Fury my perception of "fast" may differ from the general public.

Cheers from Ohio. Munich is one of my favorite cities. Good luck on your C-body hunt.
