Well some Lion's Clubs are still alive I see. Interest has been dying out in these service clubs over the years particularly the ones that meet for breakfast and lunch. Mine, in San Ramon, used to meet at lunch before being disbanded in the late 90's like others in the District. Was Secretary for four years and President for one. One of my fellow members, who spent his years at the Oakland Fire Dept. as Captain of their fire boat, returned to his roots in Iowa. No sooner there he ended up being District Governor, not one term but two terms, because of the lack of bodies.

Our local Lions club car show is next weekend. I'm planning to take my Gran Coupe if I can get a drivability issue figured out.
