Hauling a load of stone & a Ford

My neighbor worked on a GM assembly line in the 80's and said the best kept secret was the dodge trucks, as most would own one if they could. He retired and bought a Dakota shortly after.

Old Sale tactic. We did it in the late 90's by burying a Ranger/S-10 under a Mountain of Sand and parked a Ram on top....called it XYZ Dodge Buries The Competition....got lots of gawkers not so many sales..

Makes me think: **** you, Ford. Why didn't you bury a Japanese truck?

OK, What's that 28 year-old 1990 Dodge truck doing now? ... It's working!

It's carrying 1.2 tons of crush run to fix my driveway after all this rain.

And Mr. $40000 shiny truck, drove-my-truck-up-a-ramp-onto-the-rocks, man says, "I couldn't put rocks IN my truck. It might get dirty. Or even worse...GASP...the paint might get scratched!"

I have a 1989 Dodge Dakota long bed with the 3.9 V6. At 180K miles, I can't kill it. It just goes and goes and goes, and never hardly needs anything. Unbelieveable truck. I replaced shocks once and have done nothing else to the suspension or steering (except a pump seal) and it still drives and rides like new. The seats are still without one single rip either, and they are cloth. I will never let it go.

When I get gas, I still have gardeners come up to me asking if I want to sell it. They say it is the best truck ever built, and they should know! Ha ha.

I don’t like where this is going....

Real time video of my last sakes meeting for information only

"Grandpa" is now retired from working hard. Will get pampered and a well deserved easy life......and a new bumper...lol
