Well, not exactly the same thing, but it snowed here in Chico, CA last night. I was worried about my wife driving to Oroville where she teaches, a 30-minute drive. She has enough problems with hydroplaning in the rain. She made it safely.

Picture was taken at 6:27 this morning. I was at a restaurant for our weekly Men's Breakfast.

Here in the bay, all the peaks received snow last night as well, down to about 1500 feet. Mount Diablo, Hamilton, Mission Peak, even hwy. 17 had some snow at the pass.

And here I am on vacation in San Jose, from Chicago, and the damn bad weather followed me 2400 miles. At least we have some California sun today.

Of all the places to vacation, why San Jose? I work here. The place is soulless.
Oh well, at least enjoy one of the few days there's snow on the mountains. I just went out for a walk, all the peaks are still white-capped.

One look at the picture should tell you why I am in San Jose on vacation.
