Help Identifying this

I have done a pretty good job keeping all of my parts together. I would say that I have cleaned up and reused as much as I can. This piece fell out a few months ago when I was dissembling and my "before" pictures are not helping me.

Its a bronze bushing and either from the carb linkage or the auto transmission linkage/kickdown - that is for sure. I can not find a reference to it anywhere though. It could fit a couple of places on these linkages.

I am thinking it could be on your shift linkage? Nothing like that on the throttle (I am referencing a’68 383 2bbl.

Yep top one right off your steering column. Goes in the rubber bushing.

Ok. I must have taken it out and placed it on the linkage for safe keeping. That’s why it seemed out of place. Thanks.
