Hot August Nights cancels 2020 event, citing COVID-19

And I raise my middle finger to those who think taking away all of the car events was such a swell idea. I spent the entire winter waiting for summer to come, all I have in my life anymore are my car events, and my railroad events. They are why I go to work, and why I ever get up in the morning. And they took them all away.

They are pretty much under the thumb of the city of Reno. Also, the casinos must have been involved with that decision. If not, that’s surprising.

My ex-Brother-in-law, with whom I've attended the last five HANs, sent me a text telling me of the cancellation. I told him let's get all the car owners to organize a "Justice for George Floyd" event that week; bring your cars!
