At a car show long time ago there was a 64 Dart that had the + Batt cable completely void of it's covering and the cable itself had a lot of green corrosion on it, the guy was proud that he was running the original cable. I mean really? What a dip$h!t!

No harm no foul. Glad it didn't break away going on long trip and had to use a pair of jumpers cables to get ya to the next town. The older we get,the more we forget.

Stubs300 ,Yeah, sometimes guys take original a bit to far. Had a guy with a 68 Hemi Charger that he bought new.It was around the mid 80's,he was bragging that everything is factory original other than the battery. low and behold on his way to a car show the fuel filter sprung a leak due to rust thru..Yep,,car caught fire and burnt to nothing.....
