Had a big branch come down off a tree on the city part of our lot the other day - not 1/2 an hour after my wife drove away from under it. No wind, no rain, clear still sunny day. Sitting at the table and WHAMMO! Shook the whole house.

That nearly happened in July at Carlisle this year. Down on Clay Street in the camping area. The only difference was it was the whole tree.
